[Hosea Stout Diary] Tuesday Sept 8th 1846. I undertook to hunt my mare today that had strayed but did not fine here & had to come home and met Elder Woodruff on my way home. He freely expressed good feelings and gratitude to us for the way we had dealt with the boys and was entirely satisfied.We had a rain storm in the evening
