[Nauvoo Temple] Following the so-called Battle of Nauvoo, the Trustees surrendered the city to the anti-Mormon mob by signing a "treaty," which allowed five Mormons, including the Trustees, to remain in Nauvoo for the disposition of Church and private property, but all other Mormons were required to move as soon as possible.
